Mrs. James has been teaching at Amador Valley High School since 2000. She has taught many different math courses, as well as Introduction to Engineering Design and Civil Engineering and Architecture courses. Previously, she worked as a civil engineer at Carlson, Barbee and Gibson and as an environmental engineer at Rust Environment and Infrastructure. She also taught for five years at Stanley Middle School in Lafayette.
Mr. Dennis is currently the lead teacher of Project Lead the Way at Amador; PLTW is a program that aims to engage students in STEM related curricular activities while developing students into future members of the engineering community. He attended San Jose State University for electrical engineering and has been with the Pleasanton Unified School District for thirteen years. Recently, he was awarded the 'Teacher of the Year' of the school district.
